The team sought out a dozen of the nation's top experts. "We were looking for the best in each of the major investigative fields," said Hoover. "The PI's and search experts chosen were briefed: the questions Anni would ask would be aimed at finding out exactly how the pros conducted an investigation and also what ordinary people could do on their own."
